Men, women and families come to Hope Ministries when their lives have become unmanageable and they have no where else to live. But homelessness, unemployment, addiction and poor mental and emotional health are not the real problems our residents face. They are only symptoms. The real problem is pain. Not physical pain, but rather the deep hurt, emptiness, regret and grief caused by the traumatic experiences and environments of their past. Almost every one of the 100 men, women and children who live at Hope has deep unhealed wounds in his or her heart. These wounds are the root causes of homelessness, unemployment, addiction and poor mental and emotional health.
